Duluth is a city so steeped in railroad history, that it has its very own Railway Mecca! The Southeastern Railway Museum located at 3595 Buford Hwy, Duluth, GA 30096, outside of downtown Duluth. It is home to the largest collection of antique and classic American railroad cars in the world. The museum features more than 100 restored vintage railcars and locomotives, along with exhibits illustrating the rich railroad heritage of Georgia, which includes many cities like Atlanta, Albany, Macon and Griffin. What You’ll See at The Southeastern Railway Museum

The Southeastern Railway Museum is home to a collection of more than 100 railroad cars, including both steam and diesel-powered railroad cars. Visitors can follow a self-guided tour, or plan a private tour with Museum staff.
